“WTF is this sorcery? Lauren really is a scent sorceress, because there is no other explanation for how mint, leather, amber, cedar, and smoke can come together to create this subtly seductive scent.
At first sniff, I could definitely imagine the smell of Xaden’s leathers wrapped in dragon smoke and shadow magic. But it’s so subtle - not overly smokey or overpowering. It’s just perfectly balanced magic. And when the candle’s lit? It still smells like leather and smoke and magic, but there is a freshness to it - like Xaden right after a shower or dip in the lake. That might sound ridiculous, but I don’t know how else to describe it.
It’s smoky yet airy, rich but clean, and just so well balanced. Honestly, I could curl up with a book, light this candle, and breathe it in all day.”
